ANnA SAgaN

Anna Sagan is a Los Angeles–based mixed media artist whose work explores texture, movement, and emotional abstraction through layered materials and process-driven experimentation.

Originally discovering painting and sculptural making during the uncertainty of the pandemic, Sagan began creating work intuitively using found tools, raw materials, and unconventional surfaces. What started as a deeply personal creative outlet quickly evolved into an ongoing artistic practice rooted in material exploration, instinct, and emotional response.

Drawing inspiration from erosion, architecture, memory, and the tension between control and imperfection, her work often combines heavy texture, layered pigments, and tactile surfaces that invite both physical and emotional engagement.

Alongside her studio practice, Sagan has worked extensively in creative production, fabrication, and visual design — experiences that continue to influence the scale, composition, and dimensionality of her artwork.

She currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
