ABOUT / ARTIST STATEMENT:

As a kid, I was mostly a rule follower… but I had my loopholes. Daydreaming was my favorite one.

With undiagnosed ADHD (especially in girls, it’s often overlooked), my mind wandered constantly—slipping into imagined worlds where colors were louder, time moved differently, and the rules didn’t matter. One of my earliest “escapes” was lying outside in the driveway, eyes half-closed, drifting somewhere far beyond the moment.

Ultramarine Daydream captures that same headspace: a place of safety, rebellion, and possibility. The electric blues and layered textures are the grown-up version of my childhood daydreams—buoyant, expansive, and free.
